Day One of Chemo

I’m not feeling well enough to write much since I started chemo this week, but here’s a twenty-three second clip just prior to my first chemo treatment. More to come!

Good luck! I can’t imagine what it must be like to go through chemo…but you’re pretty positive so I’m sure you’ll come through it fine. 🙂

So, maybe this is why you are so fit- so you can withstand and triumph over secondary effects of the “treatment”. Someday we’ll look back and say, “They used POISON to treat cancer? No Way!” But for now, stay tough! Love you lots.

Soldier on! Blog only when you want to and no apologies required. There seem to be a lot of folks rooting for you, including me! 😀

So … once again I am hitting the ‘Like’ button in a show of support….not because I like what is going on.

Like the others here…I have been thinking of you. A LOT. I have been away this weekend…but have been so thinking of you. I mentioned to my friend how I had found a blog friend … a blog warrior …

By the way…keeping up with blogs? Answering blogs? Do not worry … be here when you can … and heal…and take your time … all the time you need.

*huggggs*….though admits I wonder…one of the great wonderings of all …. and tis this…

Is your husband now forgoing his still camera for a video cam? *smiles and hugs*

    Your friend,

    me

Katie says it so well, as so many here do. Adding my thoughts and prayers, and hoping for the least side effects possible, and a continual cancer free progression right out of treatment and into the rest of your life, once and for all. We’re all pulling for your total recovery!

If you are able. Do some rosemary herbal tea. Help strengthen your body. Key to life. Stay positive. Thank you for the blog. My brother defeated cancer for the third time this year. I hope you are feeling better.

I have been thinking about you. Hoping that they are able to manage the side effects for you. Hang in there. The fog does lift and the skies will clear.

Maybe the doctors can help with that? Anti-sickness pills perhaps.

By the way, I’ve been having problems with my comments going to spam on quite a few blogs. My comment on your newest post (New Plasticware and Smurfdom) just disappeared so I think that it’s probably in your spam folder!

It’s not in my spam page here. Strange. I’ll check the spam just to make sure.
I have two different anti-nausea meds. One is good, the other one knocks me out. There are apparently a lot of choices, so I’ll keep trying different things.

Hang in there babe, hoping the side effects aren’t too aweful and subside quickly. You are strong and you will get through this!! xoxo
